Something wrong, or something missing? Write to support@skypanda.app and a person will read it.
If you are reporting something that looks wrong on screen, a screenshot and roughly where you were helps enormously. Almost every bug worth fixing in this app was found by looking at a picture of it.
Things people ask
The forecast disagrees with another app
It often will. SkyPanda does not follow one forecaster: it asks several, scores each against what the weather actually did near you, and leans on whichever has been earning it. Open a day and tap through to see where the sources disagreed and by how much.
Why is the rain radar not showing a forecast where I live?
The projected loop needs a reflectivity scale we can read, which today means the United States radar network. Elsewhere the radar still plays, but only the sweeps that have already happened. It never invents rain that the radar cannot see, anywhere.
I am not getting notifications
Check that notifications are allowed for SkyPanda in the iOS Settings app, then check Settings, Notifications inside SkyPanda, where each hazard has its own switch and its own threshold. Rain is off by default because most people do not want telling about every shower. A warning issued by an official forecaster is a separate switch and is on unless you turned it off.
My briefing arrives at the wrong time
Briefings for a saved place can arrive either on your clock or on the clock where that place is, and the sheet asks which when you add it. It can be changed later in Settings, Briefings.
My Tempest station says it is not set up
Reconnect it in Settings, Data Sources, Tempest, with a personal access token from your WeatherFlow account. The token is kept in your phone's Keychain and is never sent to us, which is also why signing out clears it and it has to be entered again.
How do I delete my account?
Write to privacy@skypanda.app and it will be deleted along with everything stored against it. Signing out clears the account's data from the phone straight away.
